Up for sale is a vintage Hills Bros. Coffee tin. This tin is the small, half-pound version and would be a great start to a collection or for use as decor in a kitchen. Originally called Arabian Coffee and Spice Mills in 1882, the Hills brothers started selling coffee in California after sailing there from New England. This company was the one to invent the vacuum sealing of food products, to keep it fresh longer, a process that we still use today. This coffee tin features the Ethiopian inspired coffee "Taster" in all his glory. This tin would look great as home décor along with other advertising tins, or even with other antique coffee items.
Condition:
It is in good vintage condition, showing minor wear, and does not come with a lid.
Size:
Measures about 3 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter.
