Here we have a vintage pull down map of Illinois that would make a wonderful piece of wall decor. It was made by A.J. Nystrom and Co. and has a clear overlay over it so that the teacher (or you) could mark it up or draw on it and have it be erasable. This overlay can be flipped and rolled back if you prefer, there are instructions on how to do so on the bottom as well (last photo). The map features the counties of the state as well as a list of censuses of the counties. This piece would look awesome hanging on a wall.
Condition:
It is in good vintage condition, with normal signs of actual use but no major flaws.
Size:
It can be pulled down varying amounts, but the map itself measures about 42.5 inches across. In the photo above, it is pulled down to measure 58 inches long.
