Here we have a vintage 1939 New Mexico license plate. The S prefix designates this plate as being used on a school bus, and 1939 was the first year for school bus plates in New Mexico. The plate feature the iconic zia and and orange and black coloring.
It would be a neat gift for someone who lives in New Mexico, souvenir to remember a trip to the state, or even as decor to a New Mexico lover. License plates also make great house warming gifts or gifts for someone who was born the year the plates were issued, and they look stellar on a wall in a collection with many different states and colors.
