This is a nice pair of vintage hoof nippers or calipers used by a farrier to trim a horse's hoof until it is the proper length for the horseshoe. It is one of the most important tools when it comes to caring for a horse. This is a great antique to have in a collection or on display as a piece of rustic decor.
