1970 Era Marriage Encounter Booster License Plate | Vintage Valentine's Wall Decor

Up for sale is a 1970s era Marriage Encounter booster license plate. This plate features a the heart and intertwined ring graphics and yellow coloring. The plate would be a fun piece of wall decor for Valentine's Day or a great vintage gift for an anniversary.

Marriage Encounter began as a weekend retreat in Spain in 1962, created by Fr. Calvo, and quickly spread to Latin America and the U.S. Fr. Chuck Gallagher expanded the movement in 1968, shaping it into Worldwide Marriage Encounter, which grew internationally and continues to welcome couples of all faiths.

Booster plates like this are neat pieces of automobilia and would have been mounted to the front of vehicles when states did not issue pairs of plates (just single plates).

Measures about 12 inches long and 6 inches wide.

Condition:

The plate is in 100% original condition, with no touch ups or restoration. It is in great vintage condition, and shows a little wear and character from the years of storage and use on a vehicle. Most notably a slight bend and some wear toward the bottom right.
