It is in good vintage condition and does not come with a lid. Originally called Arabian Coffee and Spice Mills in 1882, the Hills brothers started selling coffee in California after sailing there from New England. This company was the one to invent vacuum sealing of food products, as seen on the tin "Original Vacuum Pack" to keep it fresh longer, a process that we still use today. This coffee tin features the Ethiopian inspired coffee "Taster" in all his glory. This tin would look great as home décor along with other advertising tins, or even with other antique coffee items!
