This vintage Simplex Ironer sign is a wonderful piece of mid-century advertising. It features a mid-century styled woman ironing and some nice lettering. The Simplex Ironer was a device that allowed you to sit while ironing clothes, hence the slogan "Ladies Be Seated," which is now quite dated. It is a great piece of mid-century advertising and would look really great framed and hung on a wall in a laundry room.
Condition:
It is made out of heavy cardboard and in decent vintage condition considering its age. The sign shows some staining and has a few pieces of old tape on the edges and one near "Be."
Size:
Measures about 17 inches tall and 22.5 inches wide.
