White House Rice Flakes Vintage 1960s Advertising Decor

This vintage White House Rice Cakes sign is a neat piece of mid-century advertising. It is made of embossed tin and features black bold lettering over a white background. It was made by Southwestern Co. out of Houston Texas and dates to the 1960s. The metal sign would look great on a kitchen wall with a mix of other American themed artifacts. 

This piece would be a great addition to any modern industrial space including a warehouse loft or a chic urban apartment. A decorators dream, this sign could be the centerpiece for a mid-century themed wall or a historically themed office or den. Pair it with one of our other vintage signs to make a real conversation piece!

Condition:

It is in great vintage condition, with only a little little signs of wear. Most notably, there is the remnants of some of the thin rice paper this sign would have been shipped in originally. You can see these striations as a more off-white or tan color on the sign. There is also some slight wear to the paint on the left side.

It measures about 19.5 inches long and 18.25 inches wide.
