Here we have a vintage 1906 Maine porcelain license plate. This plate was issued in 1906 which was the first year the state of Maine issued license plates. It is also a rather rare plate as it was from a batch of motorcycle plates that were refired. You can see the shadow of the refiring to the right of the "E" underneath the top coat of red. This would be an amazing rare plate to add to a license plate collection.
Condition:
This plate is in decent vintage condition, but does have some porcelain loss along the edges and near the state name. It is all original, there are no touch-ups.
