Shipping policy

Shipping is typically via USPS, although for larger items FedEx is usually the most cost effective service. We attempt to ship in a way that both gets the item to its destination safely, quickly, and cost-effectively for our customers. Bound and printed matter will ship via USPS Media mail. Buyer is responsible for insurance claim as the item and packaging must be presented to the post office for claim. Orders are generally shipped insured, especially jewelry and glass. 

Everything is packed and shipped as green and carefully as possible, which means we use recycled boxes whenever we can, along with recycled bubble wrap, newspaper, or packing peanuts to protect fragile items. If we end up buying packing peanuts to use, we buy the soy-based biodegradable peanuts. We encourage you to reuse any packing materials or recycle them if possible!

Shipping charges include shipping and handling. This also includes any cost to shipping materials (if they were not recycled) as well.

Lost / Stolen Packages
Any package that is confirmed as delivered by the Post Office will then become a matter between Post Office and customer directly.

 

International Shipping
For International buyers, please contact us before you buy so that we may quote you the correct price for shipping, and make sure you are comfortable with it.

The International customs forms will be filled out at shipping with the cost of the merchandise. Purchases will be valued at the full sales price, we cannot represent international shipments as gifts. We are not responsible for any custom fees or delays in the custom offices incurred by the international buyer. International buyers are responsible for any and all charges related to delivery, including, but not limited to clearance and/or customs fees, duties and/or taxes, and any brokerage fees that may be charged by the shipper. Please be familiar with the laws of your country.
