Here we have a vintage "Please Dim Lights" license plate topper. This topper dates to the 1950s and features white reflective smaltz paint on a black background. The topper would look great in a collection of license plates or old auto toppers. It would be a neat piece to use as decor or even put it on your car again.
Toppers like this are neat pieces of automobilia and would have been mounted to the top of license plates. Toppers were used to add some personalization to your car and were a predecessor of bumper stickers.
Condition:
The topper is in 100% original condition, with no touch ups or restoration. It is in wonderful vintage condition, showing only some light wear from use over the years.
