Here we have an Antique Cobbler's Shoe Form. For rustic or modern chic decor it would make a conversation piece in any home. These were used by cobblers as well as families to restore the sole and heel of a shoe so that buying a whole brand new shoe was unnecessary. They would fit on top of a stand and were used from the late 1800's to the mid 1900's until a new form of attaching soles of shoes was invented, using stitching instead of wooden nails. The machines that were made to do this stitching made these shoe lasts obsolete.

Condition:

It is in good vintage condition and shows little wear.

Size:

Measures approximately 9 inches long, 2.75 inches wide, and 1.75 inches tall.
