This vintage Peter's Weatherbird Shoes savings piggy bank is adorable. It has the Weatherbird character from the iconic comic strip, which was used to advertise for the Saint Louis Peter's Shoes Company from 1907 to 1932. It is made from a cardboard-like material with a metal top and bottom. It would make a wonderful piece of advertising collectible to put on display in a clothing advertising collection or St. Louis advertising collection.
Condition:
The colors are still in fantastic condition, though the container itself shows some wear, with a slight crimp on one side and a bit of wear to the top of the other side.
Size:
Measures about 2 inches tall, 1.75 inches long, and 1.25 inches wide.
