1915 Massachusetts Porcelain License Plate Vintage Blue Car Wall Decor

Here we have a vintage 1915 Massachusetts porcelain license plate. This plate is made of porcelain enamel, which is a thin layer of glass finish over steel. It was made by Ing-Rich Mfg. Co. out of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, the well-known manufacturer of many states' porcelain license plates in the early years of cars. The plate features the number 12267 and a white on blue coloring. 

This plate would be a neat gift for someone who lives in Massachusetts, souvenir to remember a trip to the state, or even as decor to a Mass. lover. License plates also make great house warming gifts or gifts for someone who was born the year the plates were issued, and they look stellar on a wall in a collection with many different states and colors.

Condition:

This plate largely in original condition, but it also has some spots of restoration. It is in decent vintage condition, considering it is a piece of glass-covered metal that was used on an early vehicle in a time before paved roads. It does show a little wear and character from use and storage over the years. In addition to the restoration work on the missing porcelain, it also has a spot of discoloration to the porcelain at the bottom of the first "2."
