This vintage Tennessee license plate is from 1950 and is in the shape of the state itself. This plate is from county number 39, Dickson county. Tennessee license plates were shaped like the state from 1936 -1956, when in 1957 the Federal Government mandated standard rectangular plates for all states. Tennessee shaped plates are highly collectable and look great as decor. Hang them on walls in the garage, man-cave, a restaurant or bar, the possibilities are endless and they will look great everywhere.
Condition:
This plate is in good vintage condition, and does show some wear and character. The paint is original, it has not been repainted.
