Here we have a vintage 1963 California license plate pair, featuring the yellow on black background and the number CMC-545. This plate was also registered all the way up to 2009 and has a large stack of stickers. This pair would be great for use on a classic car from 1963. They would be a neat gift for someone who lives in California, souvenir to remember a trip to the state, or even as decor to a California lover. License plates also make great house warming gifts or gifts for someone who was born the year the plates were issued, and they look stellar on a wall in a collection with many different states and colors.
As of 9/1/20 this pair WAS eligible for Year of Manufacture registration on an actual car. This may have changed and we encourage you to check with the CA DMV for a more recent update.
Condition:
These plates are in great vintage condition, showing a little wear and some dings from actual use. The paint is original, they have not been repainted. The front plate has two extra holes on the bottom.
