GE Vortalex Desk Fan Vintage Brown General Electric Mid-Century Decor

This vintage GE Vortalex oscillating desk fan was is a wonderful piece of mid-century decor. It dates to the 1940s and features 4 blades, 3 speeds, and a nice handle on the top. The fan would make a wonderful desk display, mantle or window sill decor, or even a bookshelf accent in a library or study.

Condition:

It is in good vintage condition and does still run, although it good probably use a tune up. When we first tested it, one of the blades was hitting the cage. We were able to bend it ever so slightly so that that no longer happened, but we are not sure if it will bend back with time. It is missing the speed knob, and so only goes one speed and is turned off and on by plugging it in.

Size:

Measures about 17 inches tall. The cage measures about 14 inches in diameter. It is rather heavy, so this will affect the shipping cost.
