Up for sale is a vintage pull down World Map that would make a wonderful piece of wall decor. It was made by Rand McNally and Co. and shows some history with some of its features such as still having Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia. Because it still has the Aden Protectorate (today part of Yemen) we can date it to before 1963. The map is a political one, so features the the different countries and large cities. This piece would look awesome hanging on a wall as a statement piece in a family room, a cute decor piece in a playroom, or even in a classroom for decor.
Condition:
It is in good vintage condition overall, but shows a few marks here and there as well as about an inch that is coming off of the metal holder at the bottom (see photo #10).
Size:
Measures about 46 inches tall when unrolled to the amount seen in the photos. You can unroll to varying lengths as well, so that is an approximate length. The canvas of the map measures about 64.5 inches wide and the bracket measures about 68.75 inches across.
