1914 Massachusetts Porcelain License Plate Vintage White Car Wall Decor

Here we have a vintage 1914 Massachusetts porcelain license plate. This plate is made of porcelain enamel, which is a thin layer of glass finish over steel. It was made by Ing-Rich Mfg. Co. out of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, the well-known manufacturer of many states' porcelain license plates in the early years of cars. The plate features the number 17181 and a blue on white coloring. 

This plate would be a neat gift for someone who lives in Massachusetts, souvenir to remember a trip to the state, or even as decor to a Mass. lover. License plates also make great house warming gifts or gifts for someone who was born the year the plates were issued, and they look stellar on a wall in a collection with many different states and colors.

Condition:

This plate is in 100% original condition, with no paint touchups or restoration. It is in decent vintage condition, considering it is a piece of glass-covered metal that was used on an early vehicle in a time before paved roads. It does show a little wear and character from use and storage over the years. Most notably, dings and chipping along the left edge, an extra hole in that wear on the left, and four extra holes at the center.
