1941 1942 Delaware Porcelain License Plate Porcelain 51260

Up for sale is a 1942 Delaware porcelain license plate. This plate features the number 51-260 and therefore was part of the batches of plates made on this base from 1942-1944. This style of plate was used from 1941 through 1947 with year tabs, which were similar to the year stickers we use on plates today. This neat piece would look stellar in a license plate collection.

License plates make great house warming gifts or gifts for someone who was born the year the plates were issued, and they look stellar on a wall in a collection with many different states and colors. It would be a neat gift for someone who lives in Delaware, a souvenir to remember a trip to the state, or even as decor to a Delaware lover. 

Condition:

It is in good vintage condition overall and does show some wear, character, and patina from the years of use and storage. There are some chips to the porcelain in both bottom corners. The plate has been touched-up in those chips at the numbers.
