1948 1949 Maine License Plate Vintage Black Orange Wall Decor

Here we have a vintage 1948 Maine license plate. 1948 Maine plates were one of the few years and states that were made from brass and not steel or aluminum. This plate features the number 13-287, the "Vacationland" slogan, and a black background with orange numbering. This style of plate was used for 1948 and 1949 with year tabs, which were the predecessor of registration stickers like we have today. This plate has the blue 1949 tab attached.

It would be a perfect gift for someone who lives in Maine, a souvenir to remember a trip to the state, or even as decor to a Maine lover.
