1948 1955 Connecticut License Plate Vintage Auto Wall Decor GK 284

Here we have a vintage 1948 Connecticut license plate. This plate features the number GK 284, a tab for 1955, and black on silver colors. This style of plate was issued from 1948 through 1956, and was re-registered each year with a tab (as seen on this plate), which are similar to the year stickers we use on plates today. 

License plates make great house warming gifts or gifts for someone who was born the year the plates were issued, and they look stellar on a wall in a collection with many different states and colors. This old auto tag would be a neat gift for someone who lives in Connecticut, souvenir to remember a trip to the state, or even as decor to a Connecticut lover.
