Here we have a vintage 1950 Tennessee license plate. This plate features the iconic state shape design, the number 14-3336, and black on silver colors. Tennessee issued license plates in the shape of the state from 1936 through 1956, when in 1957 the Federal Government mandated standard rectangular plates for all states. This plate was originally registered in county 14,  Sumner County. Tennessee shaped plates are highly collectable and look great as wall decor.

License plates make great house warming gifts or gifts for someone who was born the year the plates were issued, and they look stellar on a wall in a collection with many different states and colors. This old auto tag would be a neat gift for someone who lives in Tennessee, souvenir to remember a trip to the state, or even as decor to a Tennessee lover.

Condition:

The plate is in 100% original condition, with no touch ups or restoration. It is in good vintage condition overall and shows a little wear and character the years of use and storage. Most notably, some scuffs to the paint here and there.
