This vintage George Washington Highway sign would make a wonderful piece of wall decor. The sign dates to the 1960s and features the smooth sheeting used after 1957.  This George Washington Highway sign is from West Virginia, and the route starts in Grafton, WV and ends in Mount Storm, WV after some twists and turns through the mountains, spitting you out near some other picturesque mountain runs, including Skyline Drive and The Blue Ridge Parkway.

This metal sign with faded tan color and black font would be great for a travel themed decor, or an US historic themed office. This vintage highway sign would be perfect for the local history buff or someone hoping to revisit the nostalgia of road trips of the past century. This is a great piece of history that would look great in a modern industrial setting such as a den, bedroom, or restaurant.

Condition:

It is in good original vintage condition, showing some nice character such as a few scuffs and nicks here and there. The white sheeting has faded a bit in the elements to a more tan color.
