1976 Washington DC License Plate Bicentennial Capitol Graphic

Here we have a vintage 1976 Washington DC license plate, featuring the embossed Capitol Building graphic used to celebrate the bicentennial. The plate also has a white background and blue numbering, along with the number 649-056. This style of plate was issued from 1975 through 1984, with a few minor tweaks to the design throughout these 9 years.

License plates make great house warming gifts or gifts for someone who was born the year the plates were issued, and they look stellar on a wall in a collection with many different states and colors. This old auto tag would be a neat gift for someone who lives in DC, souvenir to remember a trip to the state, or even as decor to a DC lover.

Condition:

This plate is in 100% original condition, with no paint touchups or restoration. It is in good vintage condition, and does show a little wear and character from use on a vehicle and storage over the years. Most notably, some scuffs to the right side.
