This vintage End Improved Road wooden sign is a very sweet and early piece of automobilia. This piece was found in Maine and would have been used at a time before metal road signs were used. It features cat eye marble reflectors around the perimeter of the signs and a nice black and yellow painted finish. The sign would look wonderful in a collection of other signs, in a garage, or even on in a rustic or chic environment.
Condition:
It is in great vintage condition, given its age, though it does show some wear and character from over the years. There are some nicks and dings to the wood here and there, the worst piece of wear being at the very center, probably where it was attached to a pole and yanked off originally.
Size:
Measures 24 inches long, 24 inches wide, and 2 inches thick, when measured as a square, not a diamond.
