Here we have a vintage Freedomland USA blue-gray felt pennant. This unique wall hanging features a Native American in a canoe. Freedomland USA was only open for four years from 1960-1964 in the Bronx, NY. and was a theme park based on the different regions of the country. The attraction that many park-goers remember is the Chicago Fire in which park guests were rallied to put out the fire in a dramatic scene. It would look great in on a wall in a child's room or on a bulletin board as well as in a collection of souvenirs or other pennants. It would also look great stitched on to a pillow, purse, or bag.
