This GE red dot wall clock brings a wonderful Mid-Century Modern aesthetic. With scalloped edging and gold coloring, this stunning piece would look awesome as an accent on a wall. This clock was made by General Electric in the late 1940s and early 1950s and is model 2HO2. Clocks like these are interesting in that with the dot that turns white while on and red if the power is cut. This was originally intended to let you know if the power went out and that the time needs to be reset.

Condition:

It is in wonderful vintage condition, with a nice white face and is in working order, still keeping good time. It does appear to have originally been red and painted over with the gold. However, they did a very good job and it is very hard to tell.

Size:

Measures about 8 inches in diameter in total. The face itself measures about 5 inches in diameter.
