Here we have a vintage Havana, Illinois license plate topper. The topper features red on white coloring and an embossed duck. This topper would have been use to support the local high school, whose mascot is the Ducks. Toppers like this are neat pieces of automobilia and would have been mounted to the top of license plates to add a bit of flair, similar to bumper stickers today.
This topper would look great in a collection of license plate and / or toppers. It would also be a great gift to a bird or waterfowl lover and it looks stellar on a gallery wall. Havana, IL is a prime birding and hunting ground as it is along the Mississippi flyway.
Condition:
We have a few of these available and they all vary slightly in condition. Generally, they are in good vintage condition, showing a little wear and character, but some may show a bit more than others.
