NYCS New York Central System Adlake Lantern Vintage Kerosene Lamp

This vintage Adlake New York Central System (NYCS) railroad lantern is a sweet piece of rustic decor. It features "Adlake-Kero" and "N.Y.C.S." on the top and "Adlake-Kero 3-52" on the bottom. This piece was made in the U.S. or Canada in 1952. Originally, this piece was grey or silver in color, but the previous owner painted it in gold. The original glass globe would also have been clear, but this has been painted red. Although this isn't the original color-scheme, the lantern is still a neat piece of history and would look wonderful in a man-cave or garage. Use it as a decor accent by hanging it someplace or even lighting it up again.

Condition:

It is in great vintage condition with everything intact externally. We have not opened it up to see if it has the correct parts inside (for a collector or restoration).

Measures about 9.5 inches tall (not including the handle).
