This vintage firefighter helmet is a very sweet piece! It features a leather badge on the front with the number 1 and "MFD" which stands for the fire department it was used in. The most wear being at the top of the badge where the leather shows some very slight loss. It is made of phenolic composite, an early material that was used after all leather helmets. This piece would look awesome displayed in a fire house on a shelf or hanging from a wall. It would also be a cool gift for a fire chief promotion or retirement.
Condition:
It is in great vintage condition, with very little wear.
