Towhee and Sparrow Species 1936 Vintage Fuertes Bird Print Plate from Birds of America

Here we have a vintage bookplate print from the 1936 Birds of America illustrated by Louis Agassiz Fuertes. The page features members in the sparrow family on both sides. One side features the Song Sparrow, Swamp Sparrow, and Eastern Towhee. The other side features the Chipping Sparrow, Field Sparrow, and Fox Sparrow . It is double sided (both sides shown in photos) so only one side is visible at a time. It would look amazing framed an hung on a gallery wall, in an office, or be a great gift for a bird lover.

Condition:

It is in good vintage condition, showing normal wear for its age. It does not have any rips or tears. All of our prints are from vintage books that have seen better days, thus some plates may have bends, staining, and/or tiny tears along the edge. When this is the case, we try to detail this in additional photos. Please see photos for further detail on condition.
