Here we have a vintage WWI Doughboy helmet pin from Dayton, Ohio. It is marked "1922 Dayton" and condition-wise shows a fair amount of rust but is overall still fully intact. We don't know if it was a commemorative pin given to a veteran from somewhere like a VFW Hall, an award medal, or a brooch given to a loved one of a family member who went off to war. Regardless, it is a neat piece of history.
Helmet measures about 1.5 inches wide and whole pin, including the placard at top, measures about 2.5 inches long.
